About the Role:
As our MAR Peer Lead, you'll be at the heart of our mission-empowering individuals on their recovery journeys through lived experience, leadership, and mentorship. This role is more than a job-it's a calling. You'll inspire hope, model recovery, and guide a dynamic team of peer support specialists as they change lives every day.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- Lived experience with substance use recovery (minimum 5 years), ideally with medication for the treatment of alcohol and/or opioid use.
- Fully certified CRPS and CRSS by the Florida Certification Board.
- At least 4 years working as a Peer Support Specialist.
- Passion for mentoring others-must be ready to serve as a Journey Worker to DOL Apprentices.
- Strong leadership, training, and coordination skills.
- Willingness to obtain your NCPS credential within 1 year.
- Ability to pass Background, MVR, and DFWP screenings.

- Be a beacon of hope and resilience for those navigating recovery.
- Guide individuals from pre-recovery to sustained recovery.
- Help develop personalized recovery action plans rooted in strengths and goals.
- Model recovery and self-advocacy through shared experience.
- Use evidence-based tools and techniques to support progress and healing.
- Promote the power of community, wellness, and peer support.
- Work alongside a passionate care team to develop creative, person-centered solutions.
- Deliver exceptional service that reflects our core values: Community, Healing, Recovery, Hope, and Support.
- Keep accurate documentation of services per program standards.
