SUMMARY
The Medical Assistant will assist and support the MD and/or APRN-P in providing quality care to patients. Participates in Quality Improvement activities. Attend medical staff meetings and mandatory staff training sessions.

Successful completion of Background, MVR and Drug Free Workplace Screenings.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma / equivalent, Registered Medical Assistant Certificate, one year's experience in a psychiatric / behavioral healthcare setting
Eligibility to sit for certification exam within 14 months of hire.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid Florida driver's license.
Registered Medical Assistant Certificate or eligibility to sit for certification exam within 14 months of hire.
