Successful completion of Background, MVR and DFWP screenings.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
This Licensed Practical Nurse position requires graduation from an accredited school of Practical Nursing and a valid Florida Nursing License.
Experience working with individuals with substance use issues is preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must be licensed as an LPN in the State of Florida.
Possession of a valid Florida driver's license, acceptable driving record, and proof of personal automobile insurance if the position requires. Complete State of Florida mandatory level 2 background screening prior to start of employment if direct contact with children/adolescents, vulnerable adults, or the developmentally disabled may be involved. Complete Mandatory training, CPR/First Aid and HIV/AIDS training during the first six (6) months of employment and updated if required.
SUMMARY
Performance of selected acts, as defined by the Nurse Practice Act in Florida, including the administration of treatments and medications, promotion of health and wellness, and prevention of illness under the direction of a registered nurse or physician. Participates in Quality Improvement activities and attends medical management staff meetings and mandatory staff training sessions.
