QUALIFICATIONS:

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED FOR THE POSITION:

Successful completion of Background, MVR and DFWP screenings.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or other related degree, or AA degree and working toward a bachelor's degree and 5 years' experience in a leadership role.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serves as fiscal superuser for EHR system. Works in coordination with CFO to ensure EHR billing is maintained, tables are set up properly, staff records are maintained, and trains new users for financial portions of EHR as needed. Keeps informed with State Data requirements and/or changes.
  • Develops and implements office policies and procedures for Centralized Scheduling, Registration, Navigators, Billing and other areas that are impacted by supervised departments.
  • Oversees all business operations within departments, including scheduling, registration, and billing.
  • Supervises, trains, and evaluates staff that work in the registration, billing and centralized scheduling departments.
  • Sets the staffing schedule and approves leave requests in conjunction with coverage needs of department.
  • Participates in interviewing, hiring and orientation of new staff at the practice locations under scope of supervision. 
  • Collaborates with medical staff, therapists, providers, administrative staff and leadership.
  • Ensures employee evaluations are completed in a timely manner and appropriate goals are set for all staff supervised.  Makes recommendations for salary adjustments as needed for staff.
  • Works with CFO to set departmental goals, objectives, and budgets.
  • Ensures regulations, guidelines, and standards are followed according to Medicaid guidelines, agency policy and procedures, and all other local, state and federal laws.
  • Makes recommendations for staffing levels at the site based on site productivity and patient need.  Ensures adequate provider coverage to meet patient needs.
