Behavioral Health Team Leader - MRT

What You'll Do

  • Provide weekly supervision to team members and student interns, ensuring professional growth and success.
  • Oversee screenings, assessments, counseling sessions, treatment planning, and collaboration with service providers.
  • Serve as a key liaison between clinical staff and the Clinical Director.
  • Monitor program progress and provide insightful updates weekly.
  • Ensure compliance with electronic health records and engagement hours, coaching clinicians as needed.
  • Lead onboarding and training for new employees and interns, following a structured 30-60-90 day plan.
  • Participate in community partnerships, clinical staffing, training sessions, and interagency meetings to foster collaboration.
  • Assist in the hiring and selection of interns and clinical staff.

Specialty Areas - Mobile Response Team (MRT)

  • Manage and submit monthly MRT trackers and schedules.
  • Lead MRT meetings and coordinate with community partners such as DCF, LSF, and Nassau County Schools.
  • Maintain Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with community partners.
  • Oversee AmeriCorps team members and assist with new hire training.

What You Bring

  • Education & Experience: Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related human services field.
  • Leadership Experience: At least three years of clinical supervision and leadership experience.
  • Certification & Licensure: Must hold an FL License (LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT).
  • Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and mentorship abilities.
  • Requirements: Must pass background checks, MVR, and drug-free workplace screenings.
